Ian Yamane, DC Clinic Director
Dr. Ian Yamane grew up in a small community in San Diego County, California. His affinity for chiropractic began when he was 11 years old. He was diagnosed with scoliosis, a medical condition in which a person's spine is curved from side to side. Left untreated, scoliosis can result in deformities of the spine that can also interfere with heart and lung function.
His parents decided to employ a holistic and non-invasive approach to Dr Ian’s scoliosis. They consulted with a chiropractic doctor, rather than utilizing traditional medical approaches of casting, bracing and surgery. Following an intense treatment regimen, his scoliosis was resolved. Because of this personal wellness experience, he determined to become a chiropractor himself, to participate in helping make others well.
Dr. Yamane earned his chiropractic doctorate in 1993, graduating with honors from the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. He then moved to Las Vegas, Nevada to pursue his dream of starting his own practice. For the next 20 years, his practice blossomed into multiple clinics spread throughout the Las Vegas valley. He currently owns and operates 5 chiropractic and wellness clinics throughout the city.
Dr. Yamane, a natural innovator, is forever passionate about unearthing the most current scientific breakthroughs in health; utilizing and sharing those principles with his patients. This, coupled with his high level of integrity and character, has been the key to his success.
Governor Kenny Guinn recognized this innovative spirit and integrity, and appointed Dr Yamane to the Chiropractic Physicians Board of Nevada in 2002. Dr Yamane served on this regulatory board for 8 years, ending his final term as President of the board. In gratitude, he was awarded the “Pillars of Regulation” by the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards.
